This page is not actually a Wikipedia article, and instead I have semi-manually reconstructed the MediaWiki Vector 2010 skin. The edit buttons don't actually do anything. |

Hexapora is a protogen whose design references indie videogames Outer Wilds and Tunic. They are one of Chromonym's fursonas.
The metallic parts of Hexa (around their face, chest, legs and tail underside) are gold, and their remaining biological parts are various shades of tan, orange and brown. Like most other protogens, Hexapora's visor and other screen surfaces are black by default, with the screens lighting up to show a face and icons.
Hex has two modes - Nomad mode (named in reference to the Nomai from Outer Wilds) and Seeker mode (named in reference to the Ruin Seeker from Tunic). In Seeker mode, their display colour is the colour of a semi-spoilery area in Tunic and their icon is three hexagons coloured red, green and blue. In Nomad mode, their display colour is the blue-purple of Nomai text, they gain a third eye and their icon is a certain semi-spoilery symbol from Outer Wilds.
Additionally, both modes have an alternate colour associated with them. These colours only show up when Hexapora experiences high emotions, especially anger. The alternate colour for Seeker mode is magenta, and for Nomad mode it is the yellow-orange of Nomai text.
Certain aspects of Hex's design are spoilers for Outer Wilds and Tunic, most notably the engravings on their legs, so it is advised that you only open the following sections once you have beat the relevant game.
The specific icon used for Nomad mode is that of the Eye of the Universe. Additionally, the engraving on their left leg is the coordinates of the Eye as they appear in-game.
The main colour of Seeker mode is in reference to the Far Shore, the hidden fast travel area of Tunic. Additionally, the alternate colour is in reference to the corruption that appears later in the game. The engraving on their right leg is "Hexapora" written in Trunic, the cipher that most text in Tunic is written in.
